After the end of World War II until the beginning of his presidency, General Charles de Gaulle drove this Horch 830 BL Cabriolet, built in 1936, on many official occasions. It came from the fleet of the German infantry general Dietrich von Choltitz, who was the city commander of Paris in 1944. The vehicle can now be seen in the Military History Museum in Dresden.
