The Missouri (BB-63), also known as 'Mighty Mo' or 'Big Mo', was the last battleship of the US Navy and belonged to the Iowa class. It was commissioned in 1944 and took part in the Pacific War from 1945. On board this ship, World War II was officially ended on September 2, 1945 with the signing of the Japanese surrender. The Missouri was deployed in the Korean War and the Second Gulf War. Decommissioned in 1992, it is now anchored as a museum ship in Pearl Harbor (Hawaii).
