The Citroën DS was a full-size, front-wheel drive, mid-engined sedan produced by the French manufacturer Citroën from 1955 to 1975 and exported to many countries. The abbreviation DS is a play on the French word déesse (goddess or deity). The Citroën DS set new standards in ride quality, handling and braking. These included the self-levelling hydropneumatic suspension developed by Paul Magès and disc brakes, which were used for the first time on a mass-produced vehicle in the DS. The Citroën DS 21 Pallas was the improved and more exclusive luxury version of the base DS 21 model, introduced in 1968. This car was highly praised for its unique features and equipment, and offered even more comfort and luxury. It had a distinctive look that included chrome details, exclusive trim and a special 'Pallas' emblem. The interior was elegant and spacious, offering high-quality finishes and luxurious leather seats. In addition, the car had a wide range of equipment such as electric windows, air conditioning, leather steering wheel, automatic transmission, double headlights in a common housing and cornering lights. Under the hood of the DS 21 Pallas worked a 2.2-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with around 109 hp. Thanks to its luxurious equipment and advanced technologies, the DS Citroën DS 21 Pallas became a symbol of prestige and sophistication and enjoyed great popularity among private customers and government officials. 1:12 scale model with 2265 parts, printed blocks and moving elements. Model dimensions (LxWxH): 40 x 16.5 x 13 cm.
