The De Havilland DH.98 Mosquito was a British multi-purpose aircraft from World War II. The twin-engine, two-seater machine was manufactured by the de Havilland Aircraft Company in wood and was used with great success during the war and afterwards. Thanks to its outstanding speed (630+ km/h) and good high-altitude flight characteristics, the Mosquito was almost unassailable for the German air defenses.
