The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle is a twin-engine fighter aircraft (air superiority fighter) with a double tail of the US Air Force. Manufactured in series and in various versions since 1974 and first used in the 2nd Gulf War. A fighter-bomber variant, the F-15E Strike Eagle, followed in 1988.
