From June 1941, the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was the second standard fighter of the German Air Force in World War II, alongside the Messerschmitt Bf 109. The single-seat, cantilever, all-metal low-wing aircraft was also used as a reconnaissance fighter-bomber, ground attack aircraft and night fighter. Series production of the A-3 version began in the spring of 1942 and with this version came the wider use of the Fw 190 using a whole series of different conversion kits. The prerequisite for this was the possibility of attaching an under-fuselage pylon that could be equipped with bombs of different weights or an additional 300-litre tank. The Fw 190 achieved high flight performance at medium and low altitudes. At high altitudes, however, performance was unsatisfactory, which - due to a lack of alternatives suitable for high altitudes available at short notice - was compensated for by reducing weight, increasing the wings and moving the intake scoops to the outside. Despite some success, these modified versions were never mass-produced. Model with 382 parts of a figure, printed blocks and movable elements. Model dimensions (LxWxH): 27.5 x 32 x 12 cm
