The Junkers Ju 88 was a German twin-engine fighter aircraft with a piston engine during World War II. The Ju 88 was originally intended as a fast horizontal and dive bomber, but was converted for a variety of uses through various modifications. It was a standard fighter aircraft of the German Air Force and one of the largest armament programs of the Third Reich.
