The Kawasaki Ki-61 'Hien' (German: Swallow) was a single-engine fighter aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force and was very similar in design to the twin-engine standard bomber Heinkel He 111 and the single-engine fighter He 112 of the German Air Force.
