The Panavia 200 Tornado is a twin-engine, two-seat multi-role combat aircraft with swing wings that was designed and built by the international arms company Panavia Aircraft GmbH, based near Munich. The Panavia was created on March 26, 1969 by a multinational consortium that today consists of the British BAE Systems plc, the German Airbus Defence & Space and the Italian Leonardo SpA. The new MRCA (Multi-Role Combat Aircraft) was to be usable for both conventional and nuclear air attacks, for aerial reconnaissance and in naval warfare, and was to meet high requirements such as extremely low-level flight, all-weather suitability, high weapon precision, high self-protection and day/night use. The maiden flight took place on August 14, 1974, series production began in 1979, and in 1982 the aircraft was to be equipped for operational units in Great Britain and Germany. Italy and export customer Saudi Arabia followed later. Model in the German Air Force version with 493 parts, 2 minifigures, printed blocks and movable elements. Model dimensions (LxWxH): 36 x 28 x 13 cm
