With the exception of the E-100, the German Wehrmacht's E-tank series were merely drawing board studies that never got beyond the planning stage. Only the E-100 was development pushed forward at the beginning and a production order was even placed in 1943. However, due to the severe lack of resources, the production of a prototype was only pursued on a low flame. The plan to use the turret of the oversized Panzerkampfwagen VIII 'Maus' (Sd.Kfz 205) failed because of its weight, which the new hull of the E-100 would not have been able to support. By May 1945, only the hull and the tracks had been completed. Subsequent investigations in England showed that the planned engine would only have accelerated the tank to 20 km/h and that no bridge, with the exception of motorway and railway bridges, would have been able to support the foreseeable weight of around 140 tons. The end of the war also meant the end of production of super-heavy tanks, which is why the Jagdtiger (Jagdpanzer VI) remains the heaviest tank ever produced in series. Model with 1511 parts, 1 figure, printed blocks and movable elements. Model dimensions (LxWxH): 37 x 16.5 x 12.5 cm
