The Geopress replacement filters are designed for a service life of approximately 350 cycles (250 liters).
The service life will be reduced when cleaning water with a high content of silt, sediment or tannins. The cartridge pressing time increases towards the end of the cartridge's service life. When the pressing time reaches 25-30 seconds, the cartridge should be replaced.
Even if the cycle time increases, the cartridge continues to protect.
Despite all environmental concerns, it is advisable to replace the cartridge at some point.
Cartridge shelf life:
An unopened cleaning cartridge has a shelf life of 10 years when stored under proper conditions. After a cartridge has been used, it will last for at least 3 more years.
