To mark the 20th anniversary of the classic Carcassonne, the anniversary edition of the 2001 Game of the Year winner will be released in 2021. The elegant box contains the basic game, as well as the mini expansions "The River" (with an additional 5 completely new river tiles), "The Abbot", and an "anniversary mini expansion" (consisting of 15 tiles never seen before). A noble UV print adorns all the tiles, detailed Easter eggs from the Carcassonne and HiG universe convey the festive feeling of Carcassonne and are a special eye-catcher for all fans. As the icing on the cake, we have added sticker covers for the meeples and improved the inlay and the rules. Nevertheless, all contents are fully compatible with the existing and future Carcassonne world.
