Application
First, clean your hair with a silicone-free shampoo like Khadi Amla Shampoo. If your hair is bleached or damaged, apply Khadi hair oil before coloring, leave it on for 20 minutes and then shampoo it out. You can also use Khadi Herbal Hair Color Light Blonde like a color rinse to refresh any Khadi hair color. For dark hair, it increases the shine and emphasizes lighter strands.

Mix the herbal hair dye powder with 50 degree hot water in a bowl (preferably glass or ceramic). Stir both with a whisk until you have a spreadable paste. Distribute this evenly in your hair with a brush: strand by strand - right down to the tips. If you only want to dye your roots, leave out the lengths and tips.

If you use Khadi Light Blonde as a color rinse, leave it in for 15 minutes the first time. Increase the time the next time you use it. To color, leave the hair color in for 30 to 60 minutes . 30 minutes will give you a cool, light blonde. For a warm, golden blonde, leave Khadi Light Blonde in your hair for at least 60 minutes.
