Application
First, clean your hair with a silicone-free shampoo such as Khadi Amla Shampoo. We recommend that you pre-treat bleached, highlighted or heavily damaged hair - for example with a mixture of Khadi Pure Henna and Goldhauch. This is the best way to pre-pigment your hair for Khadi Light Brown and ensure that the full color power can develop.

Mix the Khadi hair color with 50 degree hot water until you have a spreadable paste. For a cooler result, add a teaspoon of alkaline salt. Distribute the warm natural hair color evenly in your hair with a brush: strand by strand, from the length to the tips. If your hair is already dyed Khadi light brown, only treat your roots.

Allow the natural hair color to take effect for between 30 and 120 minutes - depending on how intense you want your color to be. Then rinse with water until it remains clear.

Do not use shampoo for 24 to 48 hours. Khadi Light Brown needs this time to take full effect and shine like a brunette. If you then apply a Khadi hair oil and leave it on for 20 minutes, you will fix the pigments - for a long-lasting color experience.
