The natural hair color is purely plant-based and vegan. Khadi Indigo consists of 100% pure indigo . This ensures a deep black and covers all original colors. However, for medium blonde or lighter hair as well as for gray and white hair, you will need a pre-treatment with Khadi Pure Henna.

Khadi Indigo is also suitable for mixing reddish nuances if you want to achieve an ashy tone. Or you can use it as a rinse to reduce red tones .

Khadi Indigo colors your hair completely naturally. The color pigments envelop each individual hair. It feels strong and healthy - and shines in a shimmering, mysterious blue-black.

Application
First, clean your hair with a silicone-free shampoo such as Khadi Amla Shampoo. The plant-based hair dye Khadi Indigo can be used pure on dark blonde to black hair colors. Do you have lighter hair? Then please pre-pigment with Khadi Pure Henna. The same applies to gray, bleached, streaked or very damaged hair.

Mix the powder with 50 degree hot water until you have a smooth paste. Add a teaspoon of alkaline salt so that Khadi Indigo dyes faster and more intensively. Distribute the natural hair color evenly throughout your hair. Apply it with the brush strand by strand - right down to the tips. If you only want to dye your roots, leave out the lengths and tips. Please pre-treat light roots with Khadi Henna.

Allow the natural hair color to take effect for between 30 and 120 minutes . The longer it takes effect, the darker the color result will be. You need about 20 minutes to refresh the color, and about 30 minutes for just pre-pigmentation. Then rinse with clean water - done.

Do not use shampoo for 24 to 48 hours , as this is when Khadi Indigo begins to develop its elegant blue shimmer. Before you wash your hair, use Khadi hair oil and leave it on for 20 minutes. This will make your new hair color last longer.

Note: Every hair is different - just as we are all different. Therefore, the results with natural hair colors can vary. It is best to test the Khadi natural hair color Pure Indigo on an inconspicuous test strand first.

Do you want to reduce the reddish tint in Khadi light brown or hazelnut brown? Then use Khadi Indigo instead of Khadi Henna when you pre-pigment. You can also mix Khadi Pure Indigo Herbal Hair Color with other Khadi hair colors:

• with Khadi Pure Henna for individual brown tones (tip: start with a ratio of 1:1). This mixture is particularly suitable if you are allergic.
• with Khadi light brown, hazelnut brown or dark brown for cooler, darker brown tones (ratio: 20% Khadi Indigo. Test higher doses on a test strand first).
