The shea soaps from Savon du Midi are made in Provence in France. Only vegetable oils from controlled organic cultivation are used to make the soap. After saponification, organic shea butter and - depending on the type - honey, perfume or essential oil are added during the subsequent processing. All Savon du Midi soaps are made exclusively without animal fats. Savon du Midi soaps are made in small soap factories with the traditional expertise in the tradition of Provencal soap making. This predominantly artisanal production method is clearly reflected in the high quality of these mild and nourishing soaps.
