Schleich Andalusian mare
The Andalusian is also known as Pura razza espanola, in English: the pure Spanish breed. It is a spirited and at the same time very graceful, sensitive horse. The Andalusian was bred by monks in the south of Spain in the 15th century. Its graceful appearance enchanted nobles and kings in particular. Hardly anyone would suspect that the Andalusian was used as a cavalry horse for a long time. Although it has always been known for its courage and strength, it is its elegance that sets it apart. It is a unique dressage horse and can even do the famous aerial jump that is otherwise only known from the Lipizzaner High Riding School. Andalusians are known for their elegantly curved necks and their flowing, soft hair.
