Funmais & Playmais are already very popular with kindergarten children. To paint

Even small children love to leave their mark with a colorful pen. These are their own creations on the paper, and they can be very proud of them! In addition, children take important developmental steps in every phase of their painting.

Small children are best off starting to paint with a wax crayon, as it is nice and thick and can be held in a little fist. :-) The initially confusing lines gradually form round figures that represent the early childhood archetype for all sorts of things. A little later, the cephalopod follows, then the torso, hands and feet are added. Towards the end of kindergarten, most girls and boys begin to tell real stories in their pictures. In this way, the artistic aspect of painting is also therapeutic: Pictures are a wonderful way to review and process experiences.

Shaping & Kneading

Those who like to shape figures prefer slightly harder clay in blocks or rolls. Since quality plays a big role in clay, we rely on the proven manufacturer Weible for our colorful clay rolls and clay blocks.

Commercially available modeling clay is recommended from the age of about three. If your toddler is keen to try it out while watching their older sibling, we recommend extra-soft modeling clay specifically for babies, which can be safely put in their mouths. :-)

Kinetic sand is a real trend. No wonder, because this fascinating play sand is also ideal for indoors. Due to its special properties, it seems to move! It is colorful, non-toxic, does not stick and is malleable like wet sea sand. Kinetic sand is a really innovative toy that is even used in therapy due to its calming effect. Let yourself be enchanted! Unlike modeling clay or kinetic sand, materials such as plaster or clay harden and are therefore suitable for one-time use and subsequent storage in a prominent place. With our casting and painting sets, children can make a variety of beautiful animal figures out of plaster. To get started, all they need is a little water, everything else is included in the great sets. After a day, the plaster work of art has hardened and can be individually painted with the colors provided. A perfect gift for dear grandma! :-)

The problem with conventional clay is usually the poor availability of a suitable kiln. Pottery Cool has the solution: This special clay reaches its finished state by hardening at room temperature without becoming brittle. A potter's wheel makes the whole thing really professional and yet child's play to use!

Do you know the 3Doodler? This state-of-the-art pen from WobbleWorks draws objects in space in three dimensions! The technology behind it is an ABS plastic that is heated inside the device and hardens immediately after it comes out of the nozzle. Children and adults alike succumb to this simple form of 3D printing. With a little practice, amazing results are possible!

The trend of loops or loom bands took mainland Europe by storm some time ago. Small, colorful rubber bands are stretched over a plastic loom using a type of crochet hook, following specific arrangements. Depending on the weaving pattern, the result is a simple or an artistic, complicated work that can be shaped into jewelry or a figure. There are numerous examples on the Internet that show that loom creativity knows almost no limits.

Stamping is a fascinating activity even for small children. Our stamp sets naturally meet requirements such as sizes that are not swallowed by small children and non-toxic colors. Popular companies such as Aladine bring their inexhaustible wealth of ideas into the children's room in a child-friendly way and present countless collections of motifs for every taste. Also ideal as a birthday present - you simply can't go wrong with letter stamps, for example.
Iron-on beads are another classic activity for children. With fine motor skills sharpened, the colorful beads are placed on differently shaped pegboards. Manufacturers such as SES, Lena and Ravensburger offer great sets and individual accessories for the colorful beads. The finished motif is fixed by ironing it for a while under a sheet of baking paper. This should of course be done by an adult. :-)

If that's too hot for you, you'll definitely like the cool water pearls : the Aqua Pearls just need to be sprayed with water at the end and left to dry. The beautiful, colorful pearls can also be used for other purposes, for example to make a necklace, to learn to count or simply because it feels wonderful to dip your hand in a box full of iron-on beads. :-)
